About
An Orthodox Jewish cemetery serving Denver since 1892.
Rose Hill is an Orthodox Jewish cemetery operating since August 25, 1892 in Colorado. The cemetery serves all Jews throughout the Denver community, regardless of synagogue or temple affiliation.
To be buried at Rose Hill, the deceased must have a Tahara (a ritual washing), a shroud, and a kosher casket. In addition, the deceased must be accompanied by a shomer, or guardian, on the journey from the mortuary to the gravesite.
For more than 130 years, generations of Colorado Jewish families have entrusted Rose Hill with the sacred work of preparing and laying to rest those they love. Our grounds, our staff, and our board are committed to upholding this tradition with the dignity it deserves.
